Amped Reality

JOB TITLE: Part time, short term position

JOB DESCRIPTION: Amped Reality - a new Virtual Reality Entertainment Center - is looking for an out-going, energetic high school student to tell the Grand Rapids Community about their Virtual Reality birthday parties and Glow parties and, of course, that Amped Reality is a fun place to go with friends.  The position will pay minimum wage and a performance bonus, in addition to free Virtual Reality (and reduced cost for your friends).  This would be only 3-5 hours per week and temporary.  Much of the effort will involve handing out fliers.  This would be a great opportunity for a student interested in sales or marketing in the future.  Amped Reality is located just West of Woodland Mall, but much of the work will be done in the community.  Age should be 15 to 18 years old.

Vitality Bowls

JOB TITLE: Shift Leaders & Team Members/Superfood Ninjas - full time/part time

JOB DESCRIPTION: Vitality Bowls specializes in making delicious açaí bowls, which are a thick blend of the açaí berry topped with organic granola and a selection of superfood ingredients. Additional antioxidant-rich menu items include smoothies, fresh juices, soups, salads and panini. All items on the menu are made fresh and in non-cross contamination kitchens to ensure that those with food allergies will feel safe eating at Vitality Bowls. No ingredient fillers such as ice, frozen yogurt, added sugar or artificial preservatives are used, giving the purest taste possible to each item.

JOB TITLE: Part time/full time summer work

JOB DESCRIPTION: Allied Finishing Inc., a high volume quality metal plating company in Kentwood on the East Beltline, is seeking students 15 yrs old+ for part time or full time summer work. This position could transition to part time in the fall. Work includes racking and inspection of automotive and motorcycle parts. Pay is $11.50 (+.25 for 2nd shift hours). Schedules can be flexible, but good attendance is required.

Eagle Crest GRCHS Student Ambassadors

The Eagle Student Ambassadors serve as representatives for Grand Rapids Christian High School and Grand Rapids Christian Schools. They serve in a variety of ways, including:

  • Serving as a host to a student visitor (shadow)
  • Serving as a host to a new student
  • Leading family and student tours
  • Host visiting college representatives
  • Volunteering at GRCHS admissions and other events
