Evergreen Principal's Corner

Dear Evergreen,

Parents, I hope that this letter finds you and your family doing well, enjoying summer, and looking forward to the coming school year.  Monday, August 19  is the first day of school for 2019-2020.

Our mission at Grand Rapids Christian Schools is to prepare students to be effective servants of Christ in contemporary society.

We have the opportunity to delve deeper into our mission at Evergreen this year through our theme, God is My Rock and our theme verse is Psalm 18:2.  Teachers and staff will explore the theme with students in the classroom, during Chapel, and Team Time through songs, scripture and learning activities.

As we anticipate the beginning of this new school year, I want to highlight the first few Evergreen events:

I am so eager to begin this school year.  I look forward to meeting each one of you, and I ask for your prayers for the 2019-2020 school year: for the students and families who will be part of our Evergreen community, and for the Evergreen staff members preparing for the year.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer…
